I grew up in Lagos Nigeria and I am currently studying Cyber Security at Harrisburg University of Science and Technology in Pennsylvania USA. I was 14 when my parents enrolled me at Kingsbrain Technologies to study IT Essentials where I learned the backbone of a computer system, how to develop and design your own system, the components of a CPU and how to maintain and fix all these computer components. Shortly after finishing my ITE programs, I was offered a position at my secondary school Maryland Comprehensive to carry out periodic maintenance on their computer system with my computer teacher.

This position was opened to me because I had shown great knowledge more than my peers when taking the computer class, and when my computer teacher asked how I know about the computer system so well, I showed him my ITE Cisco Certifications. At that point, even my teacher in secondary school knew I was more qualified than he was.

A year after I had finished my ITE programs, my parents re-enrolled me at Kingsbrain Technologies, to take my CCNA training and certification. It took about 3 months to be trained on how to configure routers and switches. The training was all about networking which opened my eyes to what Cisco was all about. I was the youngest Cisco Networking Engineer to graduate Kingsbrain Technologies Cisco Academy.

I was then eventually teaching students at the academy who were older than me. The information and training I had gotten from the Academy are what I am being taught right now in my second year in University, and knowing all this prior, I am excelling well in my education. I used my certification to get a Job at my university as an IT Specialist, and I also work full time for a company partnered with the government as their IT and Network Technician.
